Totally natural bathroom cleaner that works like a dream. Use for the toilet, bath, shower and even tiles. Its 20% citric acid solution gives it potent cleaning power. Ideal for removing soap scum, hard water stains, lime, and rust as well as being a useful disinfectant.
In a small bowl mix guar gum and vegetable glycerine together until well combined and set aside
In a larger bowl whisk the boiling water and citric acid until the acid is completely dissolved
Add the gum and glycerine mix to the large bowl with water and acid, whisking to combine
Add your essential oils and an optional drop of food colouring (this helps you see where you have applied the gel) and mix well
Allow to cool and thicken for a few hours before pouring into your bottle
To use, add gel to toilet bowl and spread using toilet brush
Leave for 5-10 mins, give a quick scrub and flush
For shower and bath cleaning, add the gel and spread around using your scrub brush using bristles to clean grout
Leave for 5-10 mins, give it a scrub and rinse off
